Congratulations Monika & James

I'll never forget when we met this nice smiling couple. We were friends instantly and saw the excitement in their eyes as they told us the wedding plans. Monika and James chose the "Completely Elite" package, which includes an egagement session.

We decided on Indian Springs State Park for the session on a beautiful day that allowed us to take the couple to some of our hidden areas as well as the popular places in the park.

The lovely wedding was held at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Jonesboro, Ga.

Lisa met Monika arriving at the church and captured the getting ready shots.

And I met James at the church and caught the guys getting ready.

For the ceremony, Lisa found a nice balcony view as I roamed the back of the church. We feel that our husband and wife team offers many different perspectives and also more photographs of the wedding day.

The reception was held at the prestigious Eagle's Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, Ga. Lisa and I have photographed several events here and we really love this venue. There are so many different areas to photograph the wedding party both on the grounds outside as well as inside.

The famous twin staircase has provided portfolio photos for many photographers including ours.

The spacious ballroom allowed Kevin Nichols of DKH entertainment to keep the dance floor rocking all night.

A special thanks to Private Events Director Sarah Day who kept the evening running smoothly as well as the curteous staff at Eagle's Landing CC. A seamless evening of fun and laughter!

As they departed in the vintage Rolls Royce in the midst of the smoke of a sparkler sendoff, they were still smiling just as they were the day we met them! Thanks Monika and James for allowing us to be a part of this wonderful day! May you be blessed throughout your life together!

Congratulations Kelly & David

As I drove to the rehearsal in Griffin, Georgia a week ago, the weather forecast on the radio blared the 80% chance of rain for the next day. But the next morning was sunny and clear. The rain was much north of the Atlanta area.

Lisa met Kelly and the wedding party at the hair salon while I set up the camera equipment at the church.

David soon arrived at the church smiling and laughing. What a great attitude!
Since the front steps was one of the reasons that Kelly chose this church, Lisa did her posing magic. Most who watch us work will agree that I have the easy part of taking the formal photographs. Lisa just has a gift of balance and directs the people in a considerate fashion.

And then came Kelly's time to marry the man of her dreams. The tears of joy, excitement, and relief overcame her and spilled down her cheeks as she heard the bridal march being played for her.

The reception was held at Griffin Country Club, a very nice venue with a curteous staff. Thanks to Lisa, the club director, for all of her assistance! She also showed me some popular photo spots like this one.

It was just like David to stick his arm out of the window to wave goodbye and just like Lisa to photograph the limo to show the hand waving. I love this photograph!

Instead of the predicted rain, we had one of the prettiest days of the year -- a great day for a wedding! We had fun! Thanks, Kelly and David, for letting us share this day with you!

Bridal Show a Success!

Wow! What a day we had at the Georgia Bridal Show last Sunday. Eyes were filled with excitement of their wedding day. We even saw several grooms tagging along, which was quite the feat on a football playoff Sunday! We would like to thank Elite Events for the quality show.

We also say, "Thank you!" to all of the brides and moms that stopped by to hear our presentation and to look at our albums. Several have already contacted us for booking and we are excited about meeting them and discussing how we can photograph their day. Just contact us if you would like to meet one-on-one and see more examples of our work.

We are also planning to attend a bridal show on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at the Locust Grove Conference Center in Locust Grove, Georgia. We look forward to seeing you there!

Meet the Bride!

The Georgia Bridal Show was a huge success for us. We had to the pleasure of meeting hundreds of brides, grooms, mothers, and fathers. Our booth was busy right up until the fashion show. Ladies, I don't know how you got the grooms out of the house with NFL, NASCAR, MLB, and the US Open on television, but we were glad to see them there also.

We received many praises on our custom albums as they could see and feel the quality and design. We also had several enlarged framed prints and the most popular was the one below. I think this photo single-handedly sold thousands of hydrangeas for the florists next year.

Congratulations to Gretchen Babbitt! Gretchen is the winner of our engagement session drawing from the bridal show. We look forward to your free engagement session.

Thanks to all of the nice people who inquired about our services. We wish you much success in your wedding planning. We hope we can fill your need for photographic services. Please email or call for any additional questions.

We have already secured a booth for the January 4, 2009 Georgia Bridal Show at the Gwinnett Center. If you were not able to attend, I highly recommend it. It is a great way to see the products and meet the vendors one-on-one.
