New Years Day Wedding - Congratulations Lauren & Josh!

What a pleasure it has been working with Lauren and Josh. We began last summer with their engagement session in Piedmont Park in Atlanta.

Both were open to all of our ideas including Lisa's suggestion to stand on the very narrow, 15 feet high, wall as the cityscape looked on.

In the fall on a near perfect day, we met Lauren for her bridal session at the gorgeous Houston Mill House on the Emory Campus. Lauren's mother, Lillian, and Josh's mother, Marcie, were also along to assist Lisa with dress details. I felt like I was on a magazine assignment as it all fell into place.

I recall Marcie saying that she liked how excited we got when photographing. But, with a beautiful bride, and incredible dress, and the weather so nice, all of the elements were there and, yes, we were excited!

What a great way to start the year - a New Year's Day wedding!

The lovely reception followed in the Ballroom.

Congratulations Sarah & Alan!

Congratulations to Sarah and Alan who were recently married at Community Bible Church in Stockbridge , Ga.

Early in the morning, Lisa blended in with the girls getting ready.

And I made friends with the groomsmen with camera in hand.

The reception followed nearby at Eagle's Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, Ga.

What a fun wedding party! One suggested the jump shot and we said sure! This was the one and only take. The elegant Eagle's Landing Country Club in the background helps to make this our best "jumping shot" ever.

We always love working here. There are so many beautiful places to photograph. Sarah and Alan were so easy to work with on this beautiful day.

During the reception, someone asked if I had seen the getaway car? And what kind of car has a "B" inside of wings? I ran outside for I knew it had to be a Bentley! Oh, yeah!
